Job Description:

Our client, a dynamic and growing organization in Columbia, MD, is seeking an experienced and highly organized Senior Administrative Assistant to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive professional to support senior leadership, streamline operations, and contribute to the overall efficiency of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in providing high-level administrative support, handling confidential information, and managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.



Location: Columbia, MD



Pay: $55k-$65K/annually based on experience.



Schedule: Monday-Friday



Responsibilities:



  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to senior executives and department leaders, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

  • Manage complex calendars, schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.

  • Coordinate logistics for internal and external meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and tracking action items.

  • Handle incoming phone calls, emails, and other communications with professionalism, prioritizing responses and directing inquiries as needed.

  • Assist with the preparation and management of department budgets, expenses, and invoices.

  • Organize and maintain filing systems, ensuring records are up-to-date and accessible.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for office supplies, equipment, and facilities management.




Qualifications:



  • High school diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Office Management, or related field preferred.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Asana, Trello).

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail.

  • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
