Senior Benefits Analyst:


This role will assist in administration of employee benefit plans and wellbeing programs at CAVA. This includes facilitating enrollment, benefit orientations, training and communications. The Benefits Analyst will be responsible for completing documentation where needed for process and compliance purposes, as well as monitoring and analyzing data.



What You'll Do:




  • Participates in evaluating Benefits program that allows CAVA to attract and retain top talent.




  • Performs benefits administration to include enrollment, claims resolution, change reporting, benefits invoicing and communicating benefit information to Team Members.




  • Responsible for responding and resolving benefit related inquiries and issues.




  • Serves as a resource to guide Team Members to benefit plan, PTO, and leave information.




  • Prepares and submits regulatory filings and compliance reports.




  • Assists in the preparation and maintenance of Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs) and other plan documents.




  • Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment and leave policies.




  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.




  • Abide by policies and procedures that support the service mindset




  • Manage timeline expectations within and across teams, deliver on our responsibilities accordingly




  • Earn the trust of Team Members and Managers by consistently embracing CAVA's values

The Qualifications:




  • 1-3 years of human resources experience, benefits administration




  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other business-related software systems including UKG




  • Strong analytics and problem solving abilities




  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams




  • The ability to work independently on complex projects and solve problems




  • A strong grasp of the industry and knowledge of legal guidelines




  • The ability to maintain strict confidentiality of employee and departmental issues




  • Knowledge of ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, and EEOC regulations is preferred




  • Bachelor's degree in psychology or Human Resources preferred



Physical Requirements:




  • Ability to maintain stationary position to be able to operate a computer and other office equipment




  • Must be able to identify, analyze and assess details




  • For certain positions, must be able to occasionally move or transport items up to 50 pounds




  • Ability to communicate with others and exchange information accurately and effectively




  • Constantly positions self and move about to support ordinary restaurant or food production support or office operations, as applicable




  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
