​​The Calibration Specialist II is responsible for coordinating and supporting all aspects of biopharmaceutical calibration activities including calibration, adjustment, and simple troubleshooting of facility instrumentation, maintenance and usage of calibration-owned standards, and accurate completion of all associated documentation and databases to cGXP requirements.​ 

Key Responsibilities:



  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled calibration, adjustment, and maintenance on instruments, utilizing calibration standards to approved calibration procedures.




  • Document all calibration functions completely and accurately to cGXP requirements in both computerized calibration management databases and on approved paper forms and datasheets.




  • Provide professional feedback to team leads and Calibration Supervisor regarding updates and improvements to calibration procedures, standards, and methods.




  • Identify and resolve instrument issues of a complex nature.




  • Provide training and guidance to lower-level calibration personnel.




  • Support special projects and unplanned department activities.




  • Drive continuous process improvement in the calibration program, through feedback to team leads and Calibration Supervisor.




  • Perform all work safely and with a 5S mentality.




  • Attend and maintain training qualifications through classroom, reads, and OJT.




  • Perform other duties as assigned.



Key Requirements:



  • HS diploma required; College Degree in Scientific discipline (or related experience), preferred.




  • 2-5 years of working experience in a GMP environment required.




  • Strong problem-solving skills required.




  • Familiar with lab techniques and practices (basic GMP and GDP) required.




  • General technical and scientific knowledge required.




  • CCT certified is preferred

The full-time base annual salary for this onsite position is expected to range is between $53,100.00 and $61,000.00. Compensation for the role will depend on a number of factors, including the successful candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and job-related knowledge. Full-time employees receive a comprehensive benefits package including performance-related bonus, medical and dental coverage, 401k plan, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, an employee assistance program, paid time off (PTO), and more.
