Full Time Instructor, Probationary Spring 2025 HV-FAC-8371

Master’s Degree in Exercise Science, Athletic Training or closely related discipline from an accredited college or university, plus five years of teaching experience in higher education.  Candidate must be flexible and comfortable delivering instruction in a variety of modalities; online, hybrid and traditional. 
  
PREFERRRED QUALIFICATOINS:
Prior experience in counseling/advisement/recruitment in higher education and current Athletic Training Certification. Applicants should be willing to teach within an established program/curriculum and have familiarity with Bright Space/D2L. 

DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES:  The Instructor will report to the Department Chair or Dean and performs the following duties:
•    Provide classroom and on-line instruction in Health, Physical Education and Exercise Science courses.
•    Evaluate student performance.
•    Participation in retention and recruitment initiatives for the department.
•    Participation on departmental, division wide, and college wide committees for the purpose of building community and fulfilling aspirations of professional development is encouraged and supported.
•    At the direction of the Department Chairperson, faculty shall perform duties as specified in the Faculty Contract.

The Salary for this academic year position is $52,000.00.
