Scope of Position


The Advanced Cardiac Imaging Department is located in the Cardiovascular Imaging Lab and encompasses 1 imaging room located on the 1st floor of the Ross Heart Hospital. The department also includes 2 imaging rooms located in the concourse at Martha Morehouse Medical Plaza. This lab performs MRI procedures. This role may also assist and/or be cross trained in CT imaging as well. The lab currently operates Monday through Friday 7:00am - 5:30pm, weekends and holidays as needed.





Position Summary


The Lead MRI Technologist performs magnetic resonance imaging procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury. In addition, the position provides patient education and performs quality assessment activities for the division, under the direction of the Imaging Manager.





Minimum Qualifications


2-Year College Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Required
A.R.R.T. Radiography registered with current ODH licensure. Individual must have completed advanced registry in MRI. Previous MRI experience is required. Lead and/or supervisory experience is preferred.
