A Fortune 1000 Company in the global manufacturing space is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to manage technicl accounting, reporting, and analysis processes. This position is ideal for someone looking to become a Controller down the line.
Responsibilities:
Manage the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
Ensure timely and accurate reporting of all financial information, including consolidated financial statements and disclosures.
Collaborate with the accounting team to maintain compliance with reporting standards and enhance the accuracy of financial reporting.
Develop and implement reporting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and insights that support strategic business decisions.
Prepare financial presentations and analysis for senior management, providing insights and recommendations.
Support month-end and quarter-end close processes.
Stay current with new technical accounting standards, reporting regulations, and industry practices; advise the team on their impact.
Oversee, train, and mentor junior staff, promoting professional development and teamwork.
Prepare benefit plan financial statements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or relevant field
4+ years of public accounting experience
CPA is a plus
