Kforce is looking for a Technology Analyst for a client in the Dekalb, IL area. The Technology Support Analyst position administers all aspects of Business Technology to support the organization. This role includes providing outstanding customer service at all organizational levels and promptly diagnosing and resolving issues. This role provides technical monitoring and guidance in security-related activities. The Technology Support Analyst will also provide end-user support on company-provided hardware and software platforms by responding to user requests.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
Monitor security systems including, but not limited to, endpoints, servers, systems, and email
Monitor and administrate patch management and other network security as appropriate
Monitor the Help Desk Support System for new tickets, create and update tickets as support is performed
Maintain daily performance of computer systems
Order, install, modify, and remove hardware and software as per company standards
Maintain inventory records in the asset management system
Perform needs assessment, product reviews, and provide procurement advice for software and hardware
Advise end-users and management on recommendations
Manage setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images, and software
Perform institutional upgrades and sweeps, as needed, following established procedures for installation and machine configuration
Routinely collaborate with the technology team on technical troubleshooting, problem resolution, unit coverage, and product recommendations
REQUIREMENTS:
Associate degree in Information Systems, Business, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred
3+ years of relevant technical experience supporting internal customers
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Able to communicate effectively with non-technical staff and with members of interdisciplinary teams
Strong customer service and teamwork skills
Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole, fractional, and decimal numbers
Apply common sense understanding to complete instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form
Handle problems involving variables in a standardized situation
Ability to make decisions and know when/where to make concessions
Experience with Windows, Microsoft Office, and general security applications
Proven proficiency in various desktop operating system environments and basic desktop applications suites, including word processing, spreadsheet, and email
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
