RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client in Dania Beach, FL that is seeking a Senior Communications Specialist.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and Implement Communication Strategies: Create comprehensive external communication plans to enhance brand visibility and reputation, ensuring alignment with corporate goals and values


• Crisis Management: Lead the development and execution of anticrisis communication strategies, including preparing crisis management plans and protocols to mitigate risks and manage potential threats


• Media Relations: Act as the primary spokesperson for the organization, maintaining strong relationships with media outlets to ensure accurate and positive media coverage during crises


• Public Relations: Coordinate public relations activities, including press releases, media briefings, and public statements, to effectively communicate key messages and updates to external stakeholders


• Monitoring and Analysis: Continuously monitor external media and social media channels for potential issues, providing timely analysis and recommendations for proactive communication responses


• Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key external stakeholders, including customers, partners, and regulatory bodies, to maintain trust and transparency during crisis situations


• Content Creation: Develop clear, concise, and impactful communication materials, such as FAQs, press releases, and internal memos, to address external inquiries and concerns during crises


• Training and Preparedness: Conduct training sessions and simulations for company executives and communication teams to ensure preparedness for potential crisis scenarios


• Reputation Management: Manage the company's reputation by addressing misinformation and negative publicity, ensuring the organization's side of the story was effectively communicated


• Evaluation and Reporting: Assess the effectiveness of crisis communication efforts post-incident, providing detailed reports and recommendations for future improvements

REQUIREMENTS:

• To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed


• Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
