Skills and Competencies
* 5-7 years' experience in CSR, philanthropy, or related field, with a focus on managing partnerships and engagements.
* Proficient in grant processes, project oversight, and impact assessment, with a track record of integrating CSR initiatives into business strategies.
* Strong strategic planning skills to translate Community Impact strategies into actionable plans.
* Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities with internal and external stakeholders.
* Ability to manage multiple projects, crisis response planning, and familiarity with grant management software and impact measurement tools.
* Innovative thinker with a talent for identifying engagement and visibility opportunities in Community Impact activities.
Education
A degree in a relevant field such as Community Engagement, Philanthropy, or CSR is preferred.
Responsibilities
The role of AVP - Community Impact focuses on originating, fostering and managing strategic engagements and partnerships that align with Moody's Community Impact Strategy and CSR initiatives. The key focus of this role is management of global and Americas Moody's Foundation grant partnerships. The AVP - Community Impact will be the primary point of contact for our grant partners, facilitating open communication and fostering strong, collaborative relationships. You will oversee the entire grant lifecycle, from application and approval to monitoring and evaluation, ensuring that all projects align with our organizational goals and deliver measurable impact.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure that grant activities are integrated into our broader organizational strategy. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing detailed reports on grant activities and outcomes, presenting your findings to senior management and stakeholders to inform decision-making and future planning.
* Align Community Impact strategy with business and employee engagement opportunities in the Americas region, focusing on community needs.
* Develop and maintain relationships with regional leaders, suggest innovative non-profit engagement, and work with communications team for employee engagement and event coverage.
* Manage grant proposal process, identify potential grantees, provide guidance on proposal development, and assess proposals for alignment with Foundation's strategic initiatives.
* Serve as key contact for non-profit partners, oversee all related activities, collaborate on project assessments, manage meetings, and maintain professional relationships in the Community Impact sector.
* Collaborate with Sr. Community Impact Analyst to develop pro bono opportunities and coordinate partner board service initiatives in the region.
* Assist in fostering relationships, coordinating partner activities, managing event logistics, integrating initiatives with BRGs and onboarding activities, and presenting to increase visibility and engagement with Community Impact initiatives.
* Collaborate with Sr. Analyst to manage regional grant budget, update outreach materials, and develop content for various platforms.
* Present Community Impact strategy at external events, administer grants management, and work on impact reporting and Mission Measurement implementation with Sr. Analyst.

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is $119,800 - $173,650, depending on factors such as experience, education, level, skills, and location. This range is based on a full-time position. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for incentive compensation. Moody's also offers a competitive benefits package, including not but limited to medical, dental, vision, parental leave, paid time off, a 401(k) plan with employee and company contribution opportunities, life, disability, and accident insurance, a discounted employee stock purchase plan, and tuition reimbursement.
