Threat Tec, a leading provider of operational support and intelligence solutions, is seeking a highly skilled Capabilities Planner/Task Lead to join our team at MacDill Air Force Base, Florida. This position requires a motivated individual with a proven track record of success in project management and operational planning within USSOCOM or similar organizations. The selected candidate will play a critical role in interacting with senior military leadership, managing project tasks, and contributing to the development of Special Operations Forces (SOF) and Joint Concepts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interact consistently with senior military leadership to provide mission-critical support.
  • Execute day-to-day management and administration of project tasks.
  • Assign support responsibilities and supervise all task efforts.
  • Utilize, control, and redirect contractor workforce to meet scheduled milestones and budgetary constraints.
  • Perform quality checks on all work products and maintain continuous communication with Government COR and appointed Technical Representatives (TR).
  • Address concerns and ensure total product/service satisfaction for the customer.
  • Develop and maintain an electronic resource, including key points of contact, for mission continuity and stakeholder access.
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of all assigned projects and ensure the effective execution of support functions.
  • Serve as a senior technical advisor and manager for the development of SOF and Joint Concepts and capability requirement documents.
  • Conduct capability-based assessments and support/attend conferences, symposiums, and forums.
  • Apply project management principles to meet task requirements.
  • Support the development of strategic guidance with the Joint Staff and capability-based assessments with SOF Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics (AT&L).
  • Contribute to the development of the SOF vision and strategy, participating in forums, working groups, and external assemblies.
  • Provide SOF mission analytical support to cross-functional teams and external efforts (e.g., Joint Staff, components, GCCs).
  • Prepare briefs, information papers, and presentations using Microsoft Office products.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited academic institution OR 10 years of experience in Strategic Communication, Project Management, Marketing, and/or Business and Operations Management.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in USSOCOM assigned organizations (military, Government civilian, or contractor).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience developing and presenting products to general/flag-level command staff.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience using Microsoft Office products (e.g., SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, Access, Excel).
  • Prior military experience as a senior (field grade) officer or NCO.
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.
