Position Summary:
The Filtration Specialist will be primary resource for sales & technical support for the company regarding Media Clarification products and systems. The primary role for this position is to establish MFCP Inc. as a major player in the Filtration market, expanding our customer base/market share, adding needed ancillary products, and significantly growing the revenue of the entire Filtration products and systems. This position will be responsible for establishing the strategy and direction for the related products in the region. The position will also require supporting the factory representatives when they are visiting local customers. Training for the products will be a continuous process and this training will need to be transferred to all the local sales and inside sales team.
Primary Duties:
Provide support as needed to internal/external customers and management.
Drive the growth and direction of your product line, develop, and implement programs to attain company growth amongst these product lines. This includes all Parker Filtration Products.
Work directly with the Regional Management and Product Manager for Parker Filtration to establish marketing plans, programs, forecasts, budgets, quotas, and training for each product classification.
Work through our sales staff to achieve success of the products through growth and profitability, through identification of true opportunities and making sure the sales force is focused on the appropriate opportunities.
Monitor and track competitive activities, including changes in locations, new competitors, turnover in employees, etc.
Sales support company wide.
Handle all vendor information and provide a system for paperwork flow, this includes: multitudes of catalogs, bulletins, and notices from our vendors. Note comments on important information and communicate to the entire staff on a regular basis with updates, changes, news, etc. that may be of importance to all.
Become efficient in the use of P21, Phconnect, Tour De Force and TOPS.
Provide price-discounting information for entry in P21.

Basic Requirements:
4 Year degree or equivalent work experience with solid business acumen. Individual must complete training courses as required by the company to ensure they have proper product knowledge.
Develop a working knowledge of the industries we serve.
Must be able to communicate and work well with customers, vendors and company staff.
Must possess the ability to read and interpret documents such as request for quotations, purchase orders, quotations from vendors, drawings, catalog data, operating and maintenance instructions and process manuals.
Must be over the age of 21, as driving is required.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Job requires occasionally lifting objects up to 35 pounds, bending to retrieve equipment, parts, hose reels, to perform pressure testing and to push, pull or slide heavy objects. Standing for long periods of time while cutting, crimping, blowing out, tagging and plugging hoses.
Frequent repetitive grasping, twisting, pushing and pulling use of the hands.
Occasionally use hydraulic crimping equipment, saws, pressure testing stand, small power tools and various other hand tools. Some materials or processes used in hose production may generate odors.
Hose production is located in a non-air-conditioned area of our facility which may experience high or low seasonal temperatures. The physical demands and work environment reflected are representative of those encountered by employees when performing the essential job functions.

Salary:
$80,000 - $115,000/yearly, commensurate with skills and experience
