Final Inspector Technician
Speedway, IN, United States | req21594 1st Shift (7:00am-3:30pm)
What you will enjoy doing*


  • You will perform inspections of parts and assemblies in accordance with applicable Engineering criteria, documents, drawings, and workmanship standards.

  • You will perform inspections using Precision Measurement equipment/devices.

  • You will coordinate calibration activities and maintain records of various tools, instruments and gauges used for Product acceptance or Verification/Validation.

  • You will ensure proper operation of measurement equipment by following operating instructions.

  • You will assist Engineering and Operations in the investigation of non-conformities.

  • You will ensure proper documentation including fine print details on all product certifications

  • You will assist, guide, or teach others as needed.


What makes you great


  • A High School Diploma/GED is required in this role

  • Minimum of 3 years of inspection, or other Quality, experience, Aviation preferred.

  • Near Vision Acuity of 20/30 (Correction allowed)

  • Must possess appropriate mathematical and analytical skills to determine acceptability of product(s) based on established criteria.

  • Ability to lift-up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods of time.

  • Extensive knowledge of common inspection measuring equipment including, surface plates, micrometers, height gauges, radius gages, bore gauges, and dial indictors.

  • Self-motivated with the ability to self-manage (set and achieve goals) and work with limited supervision
