The impact you'll make:
In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth for our overall Softchoice Software Asset Management (SAM) practice through Cloud Marketplaces. You will lead our Cloud Marketplaces goals across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, ensuring alignment with the broader SAM strategy. Your leadership will be pivotal in shaping and executing strategies that drive marketplace growth and adoption.
What you'll do:
Leadership and Team Management:
Oversee a team dedicated to achieving Cloud Marketplaces sales objectives.
Provide mentorship and guidance to team members, fostering a high-performance culture.
Ensure alignment with overall business goals and drive team accountability.
Strategic Development and Implementation:
Develop and implement comprehensive go-to-market strategies to drive marketplace growth and adoption.
Align strategies with the overall Softchoice SAM strategy and work closely with SAM leaders to align on overall strategies and how Marketplaces fits
Collaborate with Marketplace-friendly ISVs and the PAM community across all Software categories.
Leadership on Softchoice Subscription Marketplace strategy within SAM+ Hub
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams to design and execute effective GTM programs.
Support the development of marketing funding, sales enablement, headcount funding, incremental field margin, and performance rebates.
Ensure seamless integration and execution of programs across departments.
Relationship Management:
Foster and maintain strategic relationships with key partners at all levels (Executive, Sales, Programs, Channels).
Engage with stakeholders within the AWS, Azure, and Google ecosystems.
Stay ahead of new partner programs and changes to existing ones, ensuring first-mover advantage.
Data-Driven Improvement:
Commit to continual improvement through data-driven recommendations and decision-making.
Modernize procurement processes through Cloud Marketplaces.
Utilize analytics to drive performance and optimize strategies.
Managed Services Alignment:
Propose and implement new initiatives to enhance services around SAM+, specifically for procurement via Cloud Marketplaces.
Ensure alignment with managed services to provide comprehensive solutions to clients.
Cultural SAM Stewardship:
Promote Softchoice SAM+ cultural stewardship with a focus on values-driven execution.
Foster an inclusive team environment internally and externally with vendor partners.
Champion Softchoice's values and culture in all interactions.
What you'll bring to the table:
10+ years of sales experience in the technology industry, with a focus on cloud technology partnerships.
1+ year of experience in a people leadership role.
Proven track record of working with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud platforms.
Deep understanding of Softchoice business units, programs, and how to influence sales.
Strong ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
Experience in developing and executing go-to-market strategies.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or relevant experience
