The gorgeous Waldorf Astoria Resort in Maui, Grand Wailea, is looking for a Pool Attendant to join the Recreation Team!

Located on 40 acres of lush tropical gardens, this Forbes 4-Star, AAA 4-Diamond property is consistently ranked among the world's best resorts with 780 rooms, 100,000 square feet of banquet space, and 7 food and beverage outlets. This includes 3 restaurants, 3 bars, a cafe, and in-room dining.


  • Classification: Full-Time
  • Shift: Various - must have availability to work weekends, weekdays, and holidays.

What will I be doing?

As a Pool Attendant, you would be responsible for ensuring a clean, safe and fun environment for guests at the pool in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:


  • Greet guests and attend to their pool-related needs including, but not limited to, getting fresh towels, relocating chairs and/or umbrellas, confirming registration and issuing recreational equipment, etc.
  • Clean the pool area including, but not limited to, furniture, tables, decks, cabanas, casabellas and televisions.
  • Collect and replenish pool towels and monitor inventory to minimize loss
  • Maintain equipment including, but not limited to, umbrellas, pool toys, pool chaise lounges and tables, beach chaise lounges and tables. etc.
  • Maintain proper slide usage and adhere to all safety guidelines for guests' safety and ensure exclusivity to Grand Wailea Resort guests' only.
  • Maintain constant surveillance of guests in and around pool decks to ensure guests have a memorable experience.
  • Assist guests in setting up beach lounge chairs and umbrellas maintaining the guidelines for beach public access.
  • Monitor use of the facility and address and/or report potential hazards
  • Respond to guest inquiries and service issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
  • Perform general Recreation duties, as needed

Pay Range : The hourly rate is $25.09 per hour and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.
