WHAT YOU'LL DO


As the Vice President Marketing you will be responsible for building actionable, go-to-market strategies for new and existing products, inclusive of optimizing tactics to expand our reach beyond fitness professionals and introduce our content to allied wellness professionals, prosumers and consumers. This leader will work closely with the NASM Sales and Product leaders to leverage existing and future partnership strategies that can best promote our products and content to maximize potential revenue opportunities.  The leader will also be pivotal in working with the NASM Senior Leadership to formulate a long-term strategy for the business.

HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME



  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with NASM's overall business goals and objectives, fostering brand awareness and driving customer acquisition.

  • Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, email, events, and traditional marketing.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and refine NASM's value propositions and messaging, ensuring alignment with target audiences.

  • Utilize data analytics and market research to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, optimize performance, and identify new growth opportunities.

  • Drive customer acquisition and retention strategies, including lead generation, conversion optimization, and customer loyalty programs.

  • Manage and mentor a high-performing marketing team, fostering collaboration, innovation, and professional growth.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and ensure NASM remains at the forefront of the fitness industry.

  • Lead and drive all aspects and lifecycle of marketing including development of strategic approach, execution of marketing tactics and effective budget oversight for digital marketing (online strategies; organic and paid).

  • Lead product marketing strategy and execution.

  • Partner cross-functional experts as a critical member of the NASM Senior Leadership Team to achieve segment growth and strategic goals.

  • Identify strategic partnerships aligned with segment strategy. Secure partnerships and effectively align all stakeholders.

  • Accountable for hitting all lead and revenue targets.

  • Serve as a key leader to develop long term segment strategy. Develop Board level materials in support of strategy development and execution.


WHAT YOU'LL NEED



  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.

  • 12+ years of proven experience in senior marketing roles, with a focus on strategic planning and execution.

  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a high-performing marketing team.

  • In-depth knowledge of digital marketing techniques, including SEO, SEM, social media, content marketing, and marketing automation.

  • Experience in developing and executing successful integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels.

  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage data and insights to drive decision-making and measure marketing effectiveness.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing tight deadlines and multiple priorities.

  • Superior communication (written/verbal), presentation, and facilitation skills.

  • Superior conceptual, analytical and functional modeling skills, with ability to succinctly interpret data and strategic frameworks for executives.

  • Excellent presentation and analytical skills including PowerPoint, Excel, Word and Microsoft Teams.
