Responsibilities:
Lead all MBSE activities and serve as the organization's expert in digital modeling and systems engineering.
Collaborate daily with contractors, engineers, and program management to ensure digital models accurately represent systems under development or testing.
Perform technical planning, requirements analysis, and network design to ensure systems under test are comprehensively represented within the digital development framework.
Apply MBSE skills to integrate program documentation (e.g., requirements, test plans, reports) into modeling environments.
Brief acquisition professionals, test engineers, and senior leadership on MBSE progress.
Travel to contractor facilities and test sites to collaborate on MBSE-related activities.
Produce well-documented designs within the development environment and support additional test activities, including potential system testing aboard government aircraft.
Qualifications:
Clearance: Active Secret Security Clearance with the ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI.
Experience:
8+ years of relevant experience in systems engineering and MBSE.
Master's degree in Systems Engineering or equivalent experience.
Proficiency in SysML or UML for modeling complex systems, preferably using Cameo Systems Modeler.
Knowledge of systems engineering concepts for DoD programs.
Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse, cross-functional team.
Possess or be able to acquire OCSMP - Model Builder Intermediate certification.
Willingness to obtain FAA Class III Flight Physical for in-flight testing as needed.
Desired Qualifications:
Certified Systems Modeling Language (SysML) Professional - OCSMP (Fundamental, Intermediate, or Advanced).
