The University of Iowa Community Clinics (UICC) is seeking a patient centered 100% (40 hours a week) Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to work at our UICC Northgate Urology Clinic. University of Iowa Health Care's specialty clinic provides a convenient location for medical and surgical care for male and female patients, and selected services for pediatric patients. This position will mainly support our patients at Northgate Urology Clinic but could float to other clinic locations based on clinical needs/hours.
Our experts provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment in the clinic setting as well as surgical interventions for all urologic system diseases and disorders. University of Iowa Health Care is a national leader in diagnosing and treating bladder and urinary disorders in both adults and children. Duties to include:
Staff will support our Urology Clinic.
Under direct supervision of physician, physician assistant, nurse practitioner or registered nurse.
Performs technical, patient care and related clerical functions in an ambulatory setting.
Duties may involve the use of electronic word/data processing equipment and/or conventional office equipment.
Driver's License and ability to meet UI Fleet Safety Standards.

Pay Grade: 11 https://hr.uiowa.edu/pay/merit-plan
Salary: $43,848.32 to $65,332.32 (at 100% time)/ Hourly rate: $20.92 - $31.17 (based on years of experience)
Minimum Eligibility Requirements
Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with the Iowa Board of Nursing, or eligible for temporary work permit. Responsible to take the required continuing education hours to maintain a valid LPN certification
Basic Cardiac Life Support provider
Special Qualification/License:
Driver's License and ability to meet UI Fleet Safety Standards. Availability to provide support to other clinical locations based on clinical need/hours
Desired Requirements
Previous Family Medicine or Urology Clinic experience is preferred
Previous experience in a team-orientated environment is preferred
Phlebotomy experience is preferred
Previous experience with computer skills and ability to navigate EMR - Epic, Word, etc.
