We are currently searching for a talented Billing Specialist II to join and grow with our Finance team!

This Opportunity:

  • Effectively communicate with project managers regarding contract documents, approvals, and client invoicing needs
  • Set up and approve new projects
  • Analyze revenues and expenses on individual projects to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis
  • Make adjustments to project data in ERP system per the request of the Project Manager
  • Prepare draft and final invoicing for all billable projects
  • Communicate and coordinate with other offices and accounting personnel
  • Work with the Records Department to maintain and file billing information for all projects
  • Compile data and pull reports on an as needed basis.
  • Assist in Month-End Close process
  • Accounts Receivable analysis and collection calls
  • Provide year end support for auditors
  • Thorough knowledge of Company policies

Essential Qualifications:

  • All offers of employment for this position are contingent upon the successful completion of a background check which meets company standards. This will be conducted post-offer acceptance.
  • Must have solid general understanding of accounting. Consideration may be given to candidates with a 2-year degree in lieu of experience
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team under deadline situations and respond to changes in priorities
  • Advanced communication and organizational skills
  • Strong analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Perform multiple tasks effectively
  • Highly detail oriented

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Project Biller/Bookkeeper
  • Experience with Oracle ERP Systems
  • A minimum of two (2) to five (5) years of experience
