As part of our ongoing growth and expansion, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced System Administrator/ Project Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities
Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers (Windows/Linux), networking, virtualization, and security.
Oversee system upgrades, patch management, and performance monitoring.
Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines, containerization (e.g., Docker), and cloud solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Implement security measures, ensuring adherence to best practices and compliance standards.
Support database management, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and related technologies.
Develop and utilize monitoring solutions and ticketing systems to track equipment and system performance.
Lead IT projects including infrastructure deployments, network upgrades, and system integrations.
Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and deliverables; manage change control processes.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
Monitor programmatic and technical aspects of system maintenance in a leadership role.
Provide clear communication of technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT Management, or a related technical discipline.
A degree can be substituted by relevant certifications and 6+ years of job-related experience in networking, operating systems, database management, and system administration.
6+ years of progressive management experience in functional and program roles.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Linux) and server technologies (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP).
Strong understanding of networking protocols and security principles.
Experience with infrastructure deployment, software development, and system integration.
Familiarity with deployment processes, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker).
Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, JavaScript, or C#.
Experience with ticketing systems and monitoring solutions.
Certifications:
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or CCNP are highly desirable.
