Overview

Intelligent Waves is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Product Engineer to join our Products Division. In this role, the Product Engineer will oversee the implementation of Phantom and GrayPath products, as well as contribute to initiatives within the Products Division, including the development of minimum viable products and participation in ideation sessions. This position will report directly to the Senior Solutions Architect and play a pivotal role in driving innovation and excellence in our product offerings.

Location: This Product Engineer is a remote work from home role based in the Columbus, OH area.

Travel: This Product Engineer position is a hybrid remote role based in the Columbus Ohio area and will require remote/telework and travel to customer sites. Travel is expected to be at most 30% or one working week a month. Travel will be reimbursed based on GSA Per Diem rates and DoD Joint Travel Regulations (JTR). .

Security Clearance: Must be a United States Citizen and hold a DOD Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a TS-SCI.

Employees are required to follow all company and customer site COVID-19 protocols.



Responsibilities

  • Development (55%)
    • Design, develop, test and document solutions.
    • Assist with the planning, development, and execution of product strategies and roadmaps.
    • Build infrastructure as code workflows that integrate with the CI/CD pipeline, participate in code review, and knowledge share and develop other team members abilities.
    • Foster a spirit of teamwork and unity among department members that allows for disagreement over ideas, conflict and expeditious conflict resolution, and the appreciation of diversity as well as cohesiveness, supportiveness, and working effectively together to enable each employee and the department to succeed.
  • Delivery (45%)
    • Deliver end-to-end systems architectures to stakeholders and external customers.
    • Deploying IAC in multiple cloud service provider environments.
    • Successfully execute projects, on-budget and schedule, and document/report project outcome.
    • Manage GitHub repositories.
  • Other (10%)
    • Other Duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • A Bachelors Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related scientific or technical discipline. In lieu of a technical degree work experience will be considered relevant to the degree.
  • Minimum 3 years experience with the design/architecture, installation, and/or operations of hardware and software technologies below.
  • Associate level certification in one Cloud Service Provider (AWS, AZURE GCP).
  • Experience deploying to CSPs with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
  • Experience with designing cloud environments using DevOps and Continuous Integration and Deployment tools.
  • Understanding of DoD procurement processes and schedules.
  • Excellent oral and writing skills.
  • Experience with multiple operating systems, including UNIX, Linux, and Windows.
  • Ability to work within a collaborative team and a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Ability to be a self-motivated and continuous learner.
