Fertility Sales Representative

As leaders in the field, VFP Pharmacy Group team supports patients on their journey to parenthood through efficient, compassionate customer service and expert clinical support. The primary responsibilities of the Fertility Sales Representative include selling specialty pharmacy services to key targeted physicians, medical clinics, hospitals, and academic institutions within the Reproductive Health (RH) and infertility disease state. Essential Functions


  • Generate prescription referrals from specialists in the Reproductive Health specialty.

  • Facilitate communication and provide information to ensure overall smooth transition for the prescriber and patient.

  • Responsible for territory budget and actual performance will be measured against budget.

  • Travel may include overnights.

  • Complete special projects as assigned.

  • Evaluate processes and delivery of recommendations to improve efficiency and productivity.

  • Work independently in field.

  • Territory to include (Los Angeles and Las Vegas city area)


Job Requirements and Preferences

Required:


  • Bachelor's degree.

  • Experience in RH specialty pharmacy sales.

  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), computer (MS Office, customer relation management systems etc.), and problem solving skills.

  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently.

  • Ability to travel via car and airplane/train.

  • Possess valid driver's license and personal vehicle in reliable condition with proper insurance.

  • Live within territory (Los Angeles).


Preferred:

  • Experience selling in complex environment involving longer sales cycles and involving multiple decision makers.

  • RN or other clinical certifications.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an incentive compensation plan.
