Job Description:

For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $112,000 - $168,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. As a Sustainability Software Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing business-critical applications across our Sustainability business, contributing to our commitment to sustainability and innovation.

What You'll Do:


  • Collaborate with a talented team of experienced architects and developers to build SaaS-based energy and sustainability solutions for our business clients and customers.

  • Develop and enhance core business systems and applications, providing integration to other internal and external systems.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to design and develop software solutions that address sustainability challenges.

  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using .NET Core and C#.

  • Develop APIs and web services for data collection and analysis.

  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues.

  • Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to sustainability.


What You'll Bring:

  • Proficiency in .NET Core and C# development.

  • Strong understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.

  • Experience with data integration and analysis, utilizing databases and SQL.

  • Knowledge of front-end technologies such as Angular, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

  • At least 5 years of professional experience applying Object-Oriented Design (OOD) practices.

  • Degree in Computer, Software, Engineering, or related field.

  • Experience with designing application solutions based on REST-based APIs using .NET Core and C#.

  • Knowledge of cloud computing; experience of building scalable, resilient applications using Azure a plus.

  • Knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA), its principles, and patterns at the enterprise level.

  • Experience in data modeling techniques and working in collaborative teams in an agile manner.

  • Previous energy or sustainability industry knowledge is a plus.
