Position Summary:
Provide Engineering support and project management skills toward the design, development, installation, startup, validation, and maintenance of products, processes, and equipment. Provide technical expertise within a specialty field(s).
Experience with the following is a plus:
Medical Device Industry
Standards ISO:11607, UDI, EU-MDR, ISTA, ASTM 4169, Track and Trace
Equipment: HFFS, Rotary Tray Sealers, Impulse Sealer, Thermoforming, Band Sealers, Conveyors, Case Sealers, Burst Tester, Peel Testers, HD Printer and Labeling.
Regulatory Bodies: FDA and TUV
Materials: Tyvek, Medical Grade Paper, Films, Pouches, Medical trays, HIPS, Corrugated, Folding Carton, Labels and Inks.
Root Cause Analysis experience.
Computerized Systems:
Cape Pack or Tops
Minitab, Statgraphics
MS Project
Packaging Engineering degree preferred.

Responsibilities: Essential Duties
Applies standard engineering techniques to design, analyze, test, maintain, repair or improve products, components or assemblies.
Analyzes, develops and evaluates systems.
Improves and maintains current systems or creates brand new projects.
Designs and drafts blueprints with designer, visits systems in the field and manages projects.
Must be SME in field at higher levels of job.
Applies engineering techniques and analyses within the scope of the assignment.
