Location: New York, New York
Manage administrative operations of Rory Meyers’ doctoral programs; provide operational support for the overall graduate program. Assist with development of programmatic reporting and evaluations. Manage adjunct faculty hiring process for graduate programs; forecast future budgetary needs and make recommendations. Prepare evaluation surveys for courses, faculty, and the doctoral programs. Interpret University and nursing regulatory guidelines and policies to ensure graduate program compliance. Act as liaison between faculty & clinical mentors and students.
Required Education:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Higher Education or a related field
Preferred Education:
Master's Degree in Higher Education or a related field
Required Experience:
3+ years related administrative experience in an academic setting or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Experience:
3+ years Experience with NYU systems; providing support in daily operations of an academic environment; budget planning and budget management; data management. Previous experience working with students and faculty.
Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Strong organizational, interpersonal and problem solving skills. Demonstrated customer service and ability to work independently and part of a team with leadership, faculty, staff and students. Excellent written and oral communication skills. High degree of discretion dealing with confidential information. Ability to plan and deliver special events and seminars. Demonstrated use of business application software, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $70,000.00 to USD $79,200.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses, clinical compensation, or other items.
