Safety Co OP

Essity Manufacturing Professional Hygiene North America is currently seeking a Safety Co Op for our manufacturing plant located in Menasha, WI.

About the Role

Essity's Menasha, WI papermill is looking for a safety co op or intern to provide support for many facility-wide projects and initiatives. This is a great opportunity for someone to get involved in both day-to-day and strategic activities, and make an impact in a 24/7 manufacturing operation.

What You Will Do

• Support the facility Lock-out Tag-out Program, specifically as it relates to preparing for machine downs


• Take an active role in plant outages to ensure the safety and well-being of all employees and contractors


• Participate in monthly safety meetings


• Conduct machine audits to ensure safe working conditions


• Develop safety related trainings


• Participate in activities related to Essity's iCare initiative

Who You Are

• Current enrollment in an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program related to the Safety profession


• Ability to work independently and as part of a larger team


• Comfort working in a manufacturing environment


• Ability to flex hours as necessary

$22-24/hour, full benefit program
