What We Do:
The Legal & Compliance Group is composed of a diverse and talented set of experts in the fields of law, banking and finance, compliance, and ethics who help guide the Federal Reserve’s critical monetary policy and financial services operations. The Legal & Compliance Group comprises three separate Functions: The Compliance Function, Group Operations and Strategy (GOAS) Function and the Legal Function each of which has additional divisions of subject matter expertise. GOAS provides the Legal & Compliance Group with resources and strategies in furtherance of Bank and Group objectives and acts as a central resource to facilitate collaboration across Functions and with business partners across the Bank to enable the execution of the Group’s strategic priorities and serve as a partner to the Group for finance, technology and people related needs.
Your role as Director of Business Operations:
As the Director of Business Operations, you will lead a team that partners and supports our business leaders and business subject matter experts on a variety of activities. As the center of excellence for operations within the Group, your role is to lead all directs to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of the Group’s operations, providing seamless collaboration with Bank stakeholders and partners to achieve business outcomes. Responsibilities include participation in and leadership of administration, business continuity, communications, group finance, people and engagement, real estate, information management, risk and vendor management activities.
Reporting to the Legal & Compliance Group’s Chief Operating Officer in GOAS, the Director of Business Operations will also serve as the Group’s Chief Administrative Officer, representing the Legal & Compliance Group on Bank initiatives and work groups, and will build, lead, manage and develop a diverse team of business operations, administrative, and executive support professionals.
Highlights of responsibilities include:
Communicating across business areas or with external parties to influence operational and strategic decisions regarding policies, procedures, and practices.
Presenting strategic analysis, options and recommendations to Group and Bank leadership.
Modeling inclusive behaviors and maintaining a culture of trust within and beyond the team of direct, clear, and authentic communication.
Managing and growing a team to successfully execute a variety of operational and administrative needs that is consistent with optimal professional services.
Supporting Group management in a variety of efforts to foster Group cohesion, inclusion and information sharing and integration into processes.
Engaging with Legal & Compliance Group leaders to influence, negotiate, and execute multiple priorities, balancing Bank and business area needs.
Ensuring effective implementation of Group initiatives and projects and identifying business process improvements.
Representing the Group in relevant Bank forums.
Identifying priorities, managing resources and ensuring the delivery of high-quality review and analysis of the future needs of the Legal & Compliance Group.

Salary Range: $240000 - $310000 / year
