About the Opportunity
The Employee Experience Supervisor provides oversight, direction and leadership to the onboarding of new hires (employees and contingent workers) for 5th District and National IT within Human Resources Operations. This team works closely with our Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Employee Relations, Total Rewards) and interacts daily with employees in all departments. The Supervisor will provide oversight and direction into the responsibilities of onboarding employees and contingent workers. They will also be responsible for monitoring operational activities through key performance metrics, service level agreements and standard operating procedures. The Supervisor will lead and/or participate in delivering HR services with a focus on efficiency, data, and technology. The position will be responsible for developing talent, and engaging with senior leadership at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond and the Federal Reserve System’s National IT. This role will report to the Employee Experience Senior Manager.
What You Will Do:
Supervise a team of HR specialists that support Employee Lifecycle needs of the Bank and National IT
Identify opportunities for cross-training and career pathing to ensure that the area has the skills to anticipate and meet fluctuations in business demand.
Monitor performance metrics to ensure effectiveness of Human Resource service delivery
Identify operational efficiencies and seek improvements to Human Resource processes by evaluating and refining processes and procedures
Regularly interact with all levels of officers and managers to provide expertise to address and resolve highly complex Human Resources issues
Qualifications:
5+ years of relevant functional work experience
Demonstration of leadership skills
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Expertise in problem solving, creativity and innovation to determine problem areas and provide fresh approaches to solving highly complex, significant Human Resources problems
Advanced analytical, planning, problem-solving, and organizational skills required to direct and lead staff
Other Criteria and Considerations:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Customer service focused with a strong desire to create a positive employee experience at all levels of the organization
Proactive and strong relationship management skills to effectively partner with HR COEs and business lines
Strong and effective problem-solving skills to handle complex HR related issues
Ability to navigate complex situations and determine a path forward with proactive input from key stakeholders
A mindset of continuous improvement and proven success in process improvement efforts
Ability to maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
Ability to successfully work with individuals of different levels within the organization and clearly articulate HR policies and procedures
Knowledge and experience working in HR operations is preferred

Salary offered will be based on the job responsibilities and the individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience as defined in the job qualifications/experience.
The Fifth District provides a hybrid work environment. This position is required to be onsite on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday each week.
