Job Summary:

Supermicro IT team is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Engineer to join our dynamic team. The IT Engineer will play a critical role in planning, designing, implementing, operating, and optimizing the organization's IT infrastructure. This role requires deep technical knowledge of Hyper-converged Infrastructure (HCI) using Storage Spaces Direct (S2D) or Azure Stack HCI and related Microsoft and VMware technologies to ensure the reliability, security, and performance of IT systems while providing technical leadership to the team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Includes the following essential duties and responsibilities (other duties may also be assigned):
System Design and Architecture:
• Design, plan, and implement complex IT systems and solutions to meet the organization's operational and business needs
• Proven hands-on experience in Hyper-V, Nutanix and ESXI environments:
- Storage Spaces Direct (S2D)
- Azure Stack HCI, SCCM VMM
- Hyper-V w/Replicas
- Windows clustering
- Active Directory
- DNS/DHCP
- PowerShell
- VDI

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in IT related fields (Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, etc.) preferred
• 2+ years of experience in a server/system support role preferred
• Expert in Server OS and privilege/access control
• Familiar with MS Exchange 2013~2019
• Familiar with Hyper-V and VMware, experience of HCI storage is a plus
• Have knowledge of MS LAPS and Tiers privilege, EPM, DLP, data encryption, MDM
• Ability to manage and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Have solid understanding of Network protocols
• Experience with M365 Intune and other security related products
• Experience with SAN storage a plus
• Experience with Linux a plus
• Experience with ITIL preferred
• Have MCSE certificate is a plus
• Able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds like computers, printers, monitors, and peripherals

Salary Range

$83,000 - $145,000

The salary offered will depend on several factors, including your location, level, education, training, specific skills, years of experience, and comparison to other employees already in this role. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation, such as participation in bonus and equity award programs.
