A Day in the Life
In the role as Senior Software Test Engineer, you will work closely with cross functional team members and program level stakeholders to advance existing technology or introduce new technology and therapies, specifically within Digital Health. You will work in a diverse, high performing team whose job covers several aspects of the product development process, with focus on Testing and Test Automation activities.

Responsibilities Include:

• \tCollaborate with lead engineers and feature owners to understand
requirements and acceptance criteria.
• \tParticipate in scrum teams and functional reviews to contribute to
technical decisions that result in a robust, maintainable, and reliable
system by defining appropriate test coverage of new and existing features.
• \tConduct test brainstorming sessions and manage test scope, test
scenarios, and provide test automation deliverables in a timely manner.
• \tCreate test environments and write automated test scripts to support
verification and validation activities, with the use of CI/CD technology.
• \tExecute manual tests when necessary.
• \tMentor and review work of lower-level engineers.
• \tWrite, review and release documentation to support test execution and
collection of test evidence in accordance with processes and procedures.
• \tComply with coding standards and requirements.
• \tSupport key processes in design controls and Agile methodology.

• \t4+ years of relevant experience.
• \tBachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or Biomedical,
Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
• \tSolid organization skills, including attention to detail and managing
priorities.
• \tExcellent verbal and written communication skills with an aptitude for
convincing others of the value of their ideas.
• \tExperience with test methodologies.
• \tProficiency in Python scripting.
• \tExperience with continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and
implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
• \tExperience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium).
• \tExperience with code standards and style enforcement tools (e.g., Flake8)
• \tExperience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef)

Preferred Qualifications

• \t5+ years of relevant experience.
• \tExperience in the medical device industry.
• \tExperience with C# and .NET.
• \tExperience with LabView.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.


  • Tests the functionality and performance of software applications or systems software.

  • Develops and executes test plans and scripts designed to detect problems in software applications and systems software.

  • Ensures software applications or systems software meets technical and functional requirements.

  • Performs workflow analysis, documents test results and recommends quality improvements.

  • Works with development to resolve software defects and diagnose/improve product configuration for current and future models.

  • Reviews test automation frameworks, tools, techniques, and methodologies.

TECHNICAL SPECIALIST CAREER STREAM: An individual contributor with responsibility in our technical functions to advance existing technology or introduce new technology and therapies. Formulates, delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. May act as a mentor to colleagues or may direct the work of other lower level professionals. The majority of time is spent delivering R&D, systems or initiatives related to new technologies or therapies - from design to implementation - while adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills.

Required Knowledge and Experience: Requires advanced knowledge of job area combining breadth and depth, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
May have practical knowledge of project management.
Requires a Baccalaureate Degree and minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience. (For degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree which satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. • 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A)).

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):98,400.00 - 123,000.00 - 147,600.00 USD

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
