Purpose of Job: Increase sales of PBV products through the use of suggestive sales skills while in the process of recording product orders from Food Service Customers.
Job Duties:
Places outbound calls to PBV customers based on account leads based on approved product campaign initiatives.
Records customer product orders accurately.
Educates customers on new products offered.
Matches product benefits with customer needs.
Identifies and handles customer inquiries.
Applies customer service best practices to resolve customer issues regarding order execution, delivery execution, requests for new equipment placements through the entry of service requests.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma.
Associate’s Degree preferred.
Four (4) years of experience in customer service or sales required.
Five (5) years of experience is preferred.
Previous Call Center experience preferred.
Must have superior verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with customers and business partners.
Must have an enthusiastic, positive attitude and possess the ability to communicate and interact in a professional manner.
Must be able to utilize customer service skills and critical thinking skills to assess customer needs based on verbal and nonverbal clues and match products/benefits to those needs.
Must be able to exhibit superior telephone skills.
Good judgment and the ability to prioritize customer’s needs.
Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
Physical Requirements:
Constantly (67%-100%) required to sit, type, and view a computer screen.
Occasionally (0%-33%) required to walk.
