We are seeking a highly skilled RF Engineer to join our VALOR Lab team. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting test beds, developing test specifications, formulating test plans, and executing rigorous validation testing for Open Radio Unit (O-RU) products in both standalone and end-to-end (E2E) configurations. As an individual contributor, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and performance of O-RU products, working closely with cross-functional teams to drive product quality and compliance in cutting-edge telecom environments.

Test Bed Architecture & Setup:
Design and architect comprehensive test beds for Open Radio Unit (O-RU) products, accommodating both standalone (O-RAN Conformance, RF Conformance) and E2E configurations.
Collaborate with lab infrastructure teams to integrate necessary RF hardware, software, and test equipment, ensuring interoperability with existing lab setups.
Implement setups specifically for Massive MIMO (mMIMO) and Multi-User MIMO (Mu-MIMO) testing.
Test Specifications & Planning:
Develop detailed test specifications and cases for O-RU validation, covering scenarios including conformance, performance, interoperability, mMIMO, and Mu-MIMO testing.
Formulate robust test plans for both standalone and integrated E2E validations, with a focus on 5G E2E testing requirements.
Tailor test plans to meet customer-specific requirements, lab protocols, and industry standards.
Test Execution & Validation:
Execute test plans and perform conformance, performance, and interoperability testing for O-RU products using advanced RF test equipment and simulation tools.
Validate O-RU performance, mMIMO, and Mu-MIMO capabilities, and ensure adherence to industry standards.
Conduct 5G E2E testing, including the integration of multi-vendor RAN components and extensive interoperability testing.
Data Analysis & Test Reporting:
Analyze test results, capturing critical performance metrics and conducting root cause analysis for identified issues.
Generate detailed, structured test reports summarizing findings, key insights, and test methodologies.
Provide actionable feedback to support product enhancement and quality improvement efforts.
Documentation & Continuous Improvement:
Maintain thorough documentation of test procedures, configurations, and setups for reproducibility and audit purposes.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by optimizing test methodologies, refining processes, and adopting new testing tools and techniques.
