Key Experience Needed: Clinical Account Manager, Wound Care
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (B.S.N.) required; Master’s degree in Nursing (M.S.N.) preferred
Minimum five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Current RN licensure required
WOCN, CWON or CWS preferred
Strong computer and internet skills; software experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
Experience with SAP and Salesforce.com will be considered an additional asset
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities
Ability to travel up to 70%
Experience working in an environment with global objectives

Position Responsibilities-Clinical Account Manager, Wound Care
The Clinical Account Manager will support clinical needs of existing accounts and drive AUIU activity through in-servicing, product education, OR support, training and other key supportive efforts
Support the Business Account Managers with new account opportunities through clinical discussions, education, and interaction with key clinical decision makers within the facility
Provide clinical input during pre-evaluation, implementation and conversion meetings with customers
Work with key clinicians to develop educational tools, educational programs and in-servicing, policy and procedures, and evaluation/outcome measures based on account needs
Provide initial and ongoing NPWT education to MDs, WOCNs and other key clinicians within the facility
Collaborate with key acute care partners on new acute care opportunities, evaluation planning and implementation
Be present at the majority of NPWT dressing changes across the continuum of care during evaluations and conversions until deemed no longer necessary
Provide education and clinical support to all channels within the region, including, post-acute NPWT distributors and their customers (DME’s), hospitals, clinics, physicians’ office, and other clinical settings where NPWT is applied
Development of educational training programs, including formulation, delivery and facilitation of all training programs approved by marketing
Development and implementation of training tools and strategies to maximize the selling and product support effectiveness of internal and external staff approved by marketing
Development, support and execution of competency training programs
Coordination with clinicians, healthcare facilities and the sales, marketing and quality teams to facilitate appropriate development and use of white papers, case studies and clinical research to validate the effectiveness and safety of Medaxis products, including commercial, developmental and investigational products
Completion of clinical assessments as part of the regulatory investigation into product issues and complaints
Attend clinical congresses where Medaxis is exhibiting or presenting data
Provide clinical guidance to understand customer complaints and propose potential methods to resolve clinical product and user issues in accordance with our quality system
Keep timely records and manage all customer activities including call reports and follow-up through company CRM software
Stay current with the latest wound care research; this may involve contact and discussions with outside experts, including overnight travel
