A client of ours in the Manufacturing industry in LaPorte is adding an HR Manager/HR Generalist to their team. This position is Direct Hire, open due to growth, and has a GREAT career path for continued growth.
100% Onsite - Hours are 8:00am - 5:00pm
Responsibilities
Responsible for managing human resource issues related to training, payroll, recruitment, compliance and employee relations for an International Company.
Responsible for all day-to-day coordination of human resources and payroll support to the Company.
Works in a team environment across all HR disciplines.
May work independently on projects and can respond to employee concerns as well as provide strategic input to help improve and streamline business processes and efficiencies.
Responsible for supporting, advising, and guiding managers and employees on all employee issues.
Experience:
5-7 years in human resources and in manufacturing environment.
A Bachelor's degree in business or HR is a must. Master's Degree preferred.
Experience of managing relations in difficult and fast-paced environment.
Understanding of payroll practices and procedures.
PHR certification is desired.
Bilingual Spanish is a PLUS
