RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce's client, a well-established business services company, is in search of an Assistant Controller in Westborough, MA. The company offers an excellent working environment, strong growth and stability and a chance to make and immediate impact.

Summary:
The Assistant Controller supports the Director of Accounting with the overall oversight of the accounting and finance functions. This person will work with other departments in assisting them with their accounting related needs.

Job Duties:

• As an Assistant Controller, you will assist CFO and Director of Accounting with year-end audit and financial statement preparation


• Supervise General Ledger Accountants


• Provide support and back up to the Director of Accounting


• Perform accounting and reconciliation of accounts on a monthly basis


• Assistant Controller will oversee weekly accounts payable payment processing


• Oversee Accounts Receivable and cash collections


• Oversee all fixed assets


• Perform other related duties as needed

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required


• 5 years of relevant accounting experience required


• Experience with intercompany accounting


• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams) required


• Strong technical computer, analytic skills, and attention to detail, required


• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills with the demonstrated ability to work as a collaborative team player, required


• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment


• Experience with Great Plains preferred

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
