My client is seeking a seasoned Heavy Civil Construction Superintendent with a strong background in road and bridge construction. This role is critical to their new project and operations and requires a candidate who can ensure the successful execution of construction projects.
Your new role
Oversee all stages of project life cycle, managing construction projects from start to finish.
Coordinate and supervise construction workers and subcontractors.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports.
Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
Manage logistics, including the coordination of material and equipment.
Resolve any problems that may arise.
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience as a construction superintendent in heavy civil construction, specifically in roads and bridge construction for a general contractor.
In-depth understanding of construction procedures, equipment, and OSHA guidelines.
Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
Outstanding communication and negotiation skills.
Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach.
