Job Description: We're seeking a Web/Digital Development Director to lead and oversee the expansion of new and existing websites, from planning through launch, coordinating with the web development vendor to ensure alignment with brand standards, ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations, functionality requirements, and user experience best practices. This role will also oversee the digital marketing efforts, social media, and coordinate the functions for PACS, and in support of the more than 300 facilities we support. The ideal candidate will lead internal teams on user interface design, SEO best practices, and digital strategies to enhance our online presence and internal digital experiences.
PACS Services supports more than 300 skilled nursing facilities across 17 states, as well as managing its own website, PACS.com, and its affiliated social media channels. The Web/Digital Development Director would be responsible for maintaining these sites with the help of a vendor partner, as well as developing new sites for acquired facilities in the future.
Responsibilities:
• Lead and oversee the development of new websites, from planning through launch, coordinating with the web development vendor to ensure alignment with brand standards, functionality requirements, and user experience best practices.
• Oversee the company intranet, ensuring content is up-to-date, accessible, and user-friendly for all employees.
• Consult with internal clients on website and intranet improvements, focusing on user experience, design, and SEO strategies.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to develop and execute digital strategies that align with our business goals.
• Conduct periodic audits of website content and functionality, ensuring a seamless and optimized user experience.
• Stay updated on industry trends in web development, SEO, and intranet solutions, implementing relevant best practices.
• Lead digital strategies for PACS social media, facility-specific digital efforts, and help leverage PACS digital channels, including leadership and strategic direction over:
• Online reputation management services for the healthcare facilities we support.
• Claiming, optimize, and manage Google, Yelp, Facebook, and Indeed business listings to ensure search engine optimization and business continuity.
• Create strategies and support for actionable, regional and enterprise-level online reputation reports; facility social media sites and user accounts (e.g., Google, Yelp, Facebook, Instagram, Indeed, etc.); and Google and Facebook ad campaigns as needed.
• Provide attentive and responsive customer service to internal clients and coworkers.
• Ensure the entire spectrum of digital and web interactions follow a consistent process: Research, planning, development, collaboration, analysis, implementation, monitoring, and communicating success and needed adjustments.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in web design, digital media, information technology, communications, or a related field.
• 7-10 years of experience in related fields and roles.
• Proven experience in web management, UX/UI design, or digital consulting.
• Strong knowledge of SEO principles, content management systems, and web performance optimization.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage vendor relationships and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, detail-oriented approach to project management.
• Highly proficient in key platforms including Google, Yelp, Facebook, Instagram, and Indeed.
• Expert user of Mac OS and/or Windows.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects.
• Interpersonal skills necessary to form effective relationships with internal clients, colleagues, and external vendors.
• Ability to comprehend, interpret, and comply with company policies and procedures.
• Flexibility to adjust to changing priorities.
• Ability to creatively problem solve and think critically to support continuous improvement of the Creative Services operation systems.
• Strong technical aptitude and the ability to learn new processes and systems quickly.
Other responsibilities of the Web/Digital Development Director include: Overseeing website design and development, managing campaigns, ensuring consistent brand presentation across all online platforms, writing and/or editing web content, and meeting production schedules and deadlines. Coordinating and organizing all social media and digital communication efforts for facilities, and PACS; ensuring efficient processes, and coordinating with other teams: Internal comms, creative services, corporate communications, public relations and external agency partners and vendors.
The Web/Digital Development Director should have strong analytical and communication skills and be able to manage multiple priorities. They should also be proficient in software products related to general business operations and specific web and digital publishing processes.
