A Day in the Life

Medtronic is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Inventory Analyst to join our dynamic team in Billerica, MA. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing and optimizing inventory processes to support our mission of delivering life-changing technologies. The ideal candidate will be analytical, proactive, and possess strong problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Analyze inventory levels, trends, and usage to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing excess.

  • Develop and maintain inventory reports, dashboards, and metrics for performance monitoring.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, procurement, and operations, to align inventory strategies with business objectives.

  • Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to maintain data accuracy and integrity.

  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance inventory management efficiency.

  • Assist in forecasting inventory needs based on sales trends, new product launches, and seasonal fluctuations.

  • Support compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies related to inventory management.

  • Provide training and guidance to team members on best practices in inventory management.

Qualifications

Must Have: Minimum Requirements


  • Bachelors degree required with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience OR

  • Advanced degree with 0 years of experience

Nice to Have


  • Proficient in inventory management software and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, ERP systems).

  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.

  • Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$64,000.00 - $96,000.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
