Duties & Responsibilities:

Job Description:

Works as part of a virtual global team to develop and maintain security controls, defenses and countermeasures to intercept and prevent internal or external attacks, or attempts to infiltrate/exfiltrate company email, data, and systems. Investigates attempted or successful efforts to compromise systems security and helps to design and implement countermeasures. Maintains hardware, software, and network firewalls. Contributes to the design of security policies and controls for physical and virtual access to systems.  A large portion of day to day activities includes the operational support of information security systems. Some limited travel may be required.

Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements:

Minimum Experience Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years hands on experience managing firewalls (Any firewall)


• Minimum of 2 years hands on experience managing client and PtP VPN’s


• Minimum of 2 years hands on experience managing authentication (i.e. RADIUS, ADFS, TACACS, Diameter, etc.)


• Solid experience and ability to analyze packet captures


• Development and management of Information Security Policies a PLUS

Experience with the following technology a PLUS:

• Cisco ASA Firewalls, including Site-to-site VPNs & AnyConnect


• Palo Alto Firewalls


• F5 LTM


• Pulse Secure Remote Access (formerly Juniper SA) SSL VPN


• Cisco ACS


• Cisco ISE


• Endpoint security – i.e. anti-malware / malicious code mitigation (Trend)


• PKI / SSL Certificate


• Single Sign-On (ADFS / SAML)


• Log Management & analysis (SPLUNK)


• Domain registration / DNS management knowledge


• Proxy server operation knowledge (Zscaler External Proxy)


• Server admin (MS and Linux)


• Networking concepts


• Vulnerability scanning knowledge
