Title: Electrical Project Engineer

Location: Columbus, MS

Provide capital engineering support to implement projects on time and within budget, aiding operations and maintenance in achieving safety, environmental, quality, and productivity goals at the Hamilton Pigment Facility. Contribute to the "Plant Electrical Team" with some AI overlap. Manage major capital projects independently and direct others as needed, ensuring compliance with Safety, Health, and Environmental Policies.


Responsibilities:


• Develop and implement project plans with minimal supervision.

• Manage projects from proposal to commissioning, ensuring objectives are met.

• Organize projects in stages to control risks.

• Submit projects for gate approval with required documentation.

• Adhere to engineering and regulatory standards.

• Oversee design, planning, construction, and commissioning of plant upgrades.

• Coordinate internal and contract labor for project activities.

• Complete Design Change Approvals (DCA's) for capital projects.

• Provide electrical support (up to 15% of the time).

• Monitor construction activities for safety compliance.

• Apply Outward Mindset Principles and Tools consistently.



Qualifications:


• Bachelors Degree, Electrical Engineering


• Chemical manufacturing preferred
