A Day in the Life

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Training Coordinator III to support the learning and development needs of Affera's employees. In this role, you will coordinate training programs, manage resources, and ensure that all employees have the skills and knowledge to meet business objectives. You will be responsible for developing, delivering, and evaluating training content, as well as managing logistical details associated with training initiatives. Key Responsibilities



  • Training Coordination:

    • Manage the scheduling, logistics, and execution of training programs for employees in the Bedford and Billerica, MA offices.

    • Ensure all training activities are documented and tracked in the learning management system (LMS).

    • Assist in the development and maintenance of training calendars and resources.




  • Content Development:

    • Support the creation and adaptation of training content to ensure it aligns with business needs and meets the standards of the organization.

    • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather input and ensure accurate and relevant material is being delivered.




  • Evaluation & Continuous Improvement:

    • Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback surveys, assessments, and key performance indicators (KPIs).

    • Analyze data to recommend improvements in training strategies and ensure maximum impact.

    • Stay current on industry trends, learning methodologies, and best practices in training and development.




  • Collaboration and Support:

    • Work cross-functionally with HR, Operations, and other departments to assess training needs and ensure smooth program delivery.

    • Provide support to new hires and employees requiring refresher courses or additional development.

    • Maintain a positive, inclusive training environment that fosters employee engagement and empowerment.




  • Administrative and Reporting:

    • Assist with tracking training compliance and ensure that all required training is completed within specified timeframes.

    • Prepare reports and presentations on training metrics for leadership and stakeholders.

    • Handle inquiries from employees regarding training schedules, content, and logistics.



Must Have: Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED AND minimum of 4 years of relevant experience

Nice to Have: Preferred Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, Healthcare, or a related field.

  • Certification in training and development (e.g., CPLP, ATD) is a plus.

  • Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and eLearning software (e.g., Cornerstone, SuccessFactors, Articulate).

  • Strong MS Office Suite skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

  • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory training requirements (FDA, ISO, etc.) is preferred.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to convey information clearly and professionally.

  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.

  • A collaborative team player with a proactive and positive attitude.

  • Sensitivity to diversity and inclusion, with the ability to adapt to a wide range of learning styles and cultural backgrounds.

  • Ability to identify challenges and proactively find solutions.

  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively under pressure.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$48,800.00 - $73,200.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
