The Compliance Auditing Specialist at Aspire Health Alliance is a pivotal role that ensures the organization's adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies. This specialist is responsible for conducting thorough compliance audits, analyzing findings, and working collaboratively with various teams to implement corrective actions. The role is instrumental in the continuous improvement of compliance frameworks, promoting a culture of accountability and ethical practices within Aspire Health Alliance.
The Compliance Auditing Specialist will conduct regular and ad hoc audits across different departments and processes to evaluate compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies. They will develop, update, and execute audit plans, checklists, and schedules, prioritizing based on risk assessments and organizational needs. Monitoring compliance with regulatory requirements such as HIPAA and federal/state healthcare regulations is a key part of the role. The specialist will document audit findings, including non-compliance issues and risk areas, and recommend corrective actions. They will prepare detailed audit reports and present these findings to the Compliance Committee, management, and other stakeholders. Analyzing trends in audit findings to identify systemic issues and improvement opportunities is also a critical function. The specialist will work closely with departmental leaders to address gaps and ensure the implementation of corrective action plans.
