We are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. This newly created position will support our company's continued growth. Based on-site at our Clackamas location, this exempt role offers a competitive salary range of $85,000 to $95,000, depending on experience (DOE).

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for evaluating and optimizing machine processes with a focus on programming, tooling, fixturing, and the effective use of machines and equipment to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency in manufacturing.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement CNC machine programs to support production requirements.
Identify and recommend improvements in tooling, machining methods, and processes to enhance safety, product quality, and throughput.
Evaluate and propose new manufacturing technologies and replacement equipment; serve as Project Manager to oversee the seamless installation and commissioning of new machines and technologies.
Define and document process workflows and routings.
Design and fabricate fixtures to support machining operations.
Provide training and guidance to machine operators on equipment and processes.
Operate machinery during critical or urgent production needs.
Perform additional related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field preferred.
Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
Strong proficiency in CNC programming
Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles (strongly preferred)
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Technical expertise in CNC programming, fixturing, and machining methods.
Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
Effective communication and training skills.
