For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $80,640 - $120,960 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Schneider Electric also offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees, inclusive of medical (with member reward points), dental, vision, and basic life insurance, Benefit Bucks (credits to apply towards your benefits) flexible work arrangements, paid family leaves, 401(k) + match, well-being and recognition (including service anniversary) programs, 12 holidays per year, 15 days of paid time off per year (pro-rated in the first year of employment based on start date), opportunity to purchase company stock (eligibility depends on start date), and military leave benefits.

Overview

Join our high-performance Technology Exploration team as a Power Systems Electrical Engineer, where you'll be at the forefront of creating innovative power architectures for the next generation of data centers and AI workloads.

The ideal candidate should be:


  • Curious, self-motivated, and passionate about sustainability and new data center technologies.

  • Experienced with creating new data center electrical architectures and researching new technologies.

  • Successful collaboration with customers, cross-functional teams, and able to work independently.

The successful candidate will work with electrical power distribution systems for data centers involving from low voltage to medium voltage. Has familiarity with typical data center electrical architectures, safety, and reliability requirements.

Main activities:


  • Create new data center electrical architectures incorporating new technologies.

  • Research and summarize new technologies.

  • Collaborate directly with customers on innovation design work.

  • Collaborate directly with lines of business of new product development.

Who will you report to?

US-BUS DEV DIR DIV - Marketing


  • Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering, PE preferred.

  • Minimum 4 years of experience within the data center industry, preferred experience with both low voltage and medium voltage systems.

  • Experienced in power systems design, including sizing, protection, measurement, and control.

  • Proficient in electrical design and simulation tools

  • Must have the legal right to work in the US (no option to support sponsorship)

  • Proven aptitude and ability to succeed in research environment.
