We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Victor Insurance. This role will be based in Broomfield, CO (Remote options available). This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
Victor Insurance Holdings, the world's largest managing general underwriter, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Platform Engineer. In this role, you will oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of our organization's CI/CD pipelines, ensuring adherence to company and regulatory policies and standards while driving automation and improving efficiency.
We will count on you to:
Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for seamless integration and deployment of software applications.
Develop and enforce S-SDLC best practices, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to identify and implement automation opportunities.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance on CI/CD and S-SDLC best practices, tools, and methodologies.
What you need to have:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Proven experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or Octopus.
Strong understanding of S-SDLC best practices, including secure coding principles and vulnerability management.
Proficiency in scripting and automation languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Node.js).

In-depth knowledge of software development methodologies, such as Agile or DevOps.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Experience with pipeline security tools (e.g., SysDig, Snyk, ZAP) and code quality tools (e.g., PMD, Jacoco).
Knowledge of monitoring and observability principles and tools (e.g., Prometheus, Splunk, DataDog).

The applicable base salary range for this role is $122,400 to $244,800.
The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
