Warehouse Lead
The Warehouse Lead works closely with Warehouse Supervisor in completing the receiving, shipping, packing, storing, and movement of material as well as training and guiding senior employees. Completes all inventory and company business system transactions relating to inventory movement. Completes day to day warehouse activity while working as a floater in all aspects of warehousing as needed.
What you’ll be doing:
· Able to complete all duties of a Warehouse Specialist (See Warehouse Specialist job description)
· Gives day to day direction to warehouse employees
· Directs warehouse employees in Supervisor's absence
· Assists warehouse system tools / software implementation
· Takes lead role as subject matter expert in areas such as LTL shipping, hazardous goods and other related areas
· Training and guidance of less Knowledgeable warehouse employees.
· Remaining current against all shipping and receiving requirements by assisting the area in warehouse which needs assistance.
· Ensure appropriate packaging and other warehouse supplies available.
· Responsible for reconciling cycle counts and inventory accuracy.
· Assist in ensuring RMA activity is current and accounted for.
· Assists in ensuring priority orders are completed within the required timeframe.
· Schedules freight pickups throughout the US and Canada.
· Maintains warehouse inventory organization and cleanliness.
· May interface directly with PPT sales and customers coordinating equipment pickups/deliveries.

What we’re looking for:
· Three years’ experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in a warehouse lead position.
· Experience in the 3rd party hardware service industry, or hardware resale is a plus.
· Hands-on pc and WMS experience required.
· Demonstrated ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
· Demonstrated ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
· Demonstrated ability to prioritize work to correspond with customer requests and shipping schedules
· Reliable for maintaining a high level of concentration while handling multiple requests at the same time to ensure accuracy.
· A detail-oriented, team player. A good attendance record and commitment to work.
· Ability to problem solve and think on your feet.
· Ability to communicate objectives for less senior employees as well as ability to read and understand manuals that pertain to the warehouse.
· Ability to add, subtract and divide to complete warehouse transactions
Bonus Points:
· Experience with Excel and familiarity with Astea software a is a plus.
