Job Description:

This Configuration Analyst role will support various NSWC PHD programs. As a Configuration Management Analyst, you will have the opportunity to analyze proposed changes of product to determine the effect on the overall product. You will also coordinate modification records for management. This task requires requisite knowledge to understand hardware configuration baseline and sustainment requirements to change a hardware baseline. Specific duties and responsibilities include:

  • Perform all configuration and Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) related tasks necessary to establish Configuration Control (CC) and Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) work
  • Actively monitor, review, disseminate for review, and track ECPs and other Change Documents for ILS impacts
  • Coordinate and support various meetings and working groups
  • Support the development and maintenance of baseline configuration charts documenting configuration of program systems for distribution to all support personnel
  • Provide weekly highlights on Programs tasks and accomplishments in a format to be determine by the Integrated Product Support (IPS) lead
  • Support onboard ship assessments, Physical Configuration Audit (PCA), Combat System Assessment Team (CSAT) events, Fleet Logistics Assessments (FLA) as required


Required Skills

  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite: Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated basic understanding of Configuration Management processes and procedures
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn quickly and perform in a dynamic, fast paced team environment
  • Demonstrated ability to respond quickly to evolving customer requirements and produce positive results
  • Ability to gain and maintain access to a variety of USG databases and systems
  • An active Secret clearance is required to be considered for this position
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

Preferred Skills

  • 1-6 years of experience with configuration management support for the Navy
  • Demonstrated familiarity and/or exposure to Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) and Model Based Product Support (MBPS)
  • Demonstrated familiarity and/or exposure to Configuration Control Board processes
  • Demonstrated understanding of the Navy Data Environment.

Security Clearance:
