Job Description:
Upgrade and improve manufacturing processes at the company’s plant. Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. Acquire resources and coordinate team members and third-party contractors or consultants to deliver projects according to plan. Develop the project’s objectives and assist with project lifecycle management. Perform engineering studies as directed and assist various departments with engineering and maintenance related problems. Lead problem identification, definition, analysis, solution generation, and actively identify opportunities, develop alternatives, and recommend improvements to business processes. Develop full-scale project plans and associate communications documents. Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary. Manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans. Set, communicate, and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders. Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements. Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management.
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field. 4 years of project management experience in the food manufacturing industry. Other experience and skills must include:
