Manager, Product Marketing


The Manager, Product Marketing owns our go-to-market and retention strategy efforts. Key projects and responsibilities include contributing to messaging briefs, managing components of the launch process, owning competitive intelligence, assisting with enablement (sales and customer success), developing collateral, and presenting to key stakeholders.  In addition to supporting strategic initiatives, this role collaborates with team members across the organization including Product Management, Sales, Operations, and Marketing.  As a key member of the Marketing Team and our go-to-market organization, this position plays a critical role in the launch of new products to our audience of current and prospective customers. This role works on highly visible and mission-critical initiatives that contribute directly to our revenue goals and touch multiple areas of our business.


 


What you’ll be doing:



  • Work closely with the product management team to understand category/competitive intelligence.

  • Establish product/service positioning and ideal customer/user profiles.

    • Manages all customer research: act as the voice of the consumer.



  • Develop sales support materials and collateral (Sales Decks, Overview Sheets, Product Feature Guides).

  • Generates motivating content for products and services including: whitepapers, blogs, case studies, social media posts, and video.

  • Create and execute demand generation campaigns (with assistance from category and technical experts) including:

    • Account Based Marketing Campaigns

    • Paid Search Strategy

    • Email Nurture Campaigns

    • Webinars

    • Trade Shows & Events

    • Content Download Programs



  • Works with the training team to develop training tools for the sales and business development teams.

  • Partner with the product development team to successfully launch new products and communicate updates to existing products.

  • Develop and manage the marketing budget.

  • Work with the global Public Relations teams to develop bylines and articles for global publication.

  • Work with the global Analyst Relations teams to prepare for analyst calls and information sessions.

  • Leverage Marketing Operations tools to drive awareness.

  • Partner with Channel Marketing Manager and Channel Sales Team to leverage channel partners to drive sales.

  • Other duties as assigned.


 


What we’re looking for:



  • 3-5 years in B2B or B2C Marketing with preferred agency account management experience. 

  • Experience analyzing campaign performance and research data to accurately provide feedback on current performance and recommendations to optimize future marketing initiatives.

  • Experience managing digital marketing programs including display, social media, Paid Search and mobile advertising programs.

    • Experience with A/B and multivariate testing.

    • Knowledge of third party bid management tools (i.e., Google Ads.)



  • Creative thinking skills to develop new ideas or reinvent/rethink current processes.

  • Experience managing projects within a cross-functional marketing teams.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience with digital marketing and sales tools.

    • Demandbase, Marketo, Dynamics360, Outreach experience is a plus.



  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to work on competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Education:



  • Bachelor’s Degree required
