Software Systems Analyst

DuPont Community Credit Union (DCCU); is currently seeking candidates for an enthusiastic and driven individual to join our Software Development team.  At DCCU, we go beyond transactions and truly want to help our members achieve financial success by aligning them with the right products and services to help make a difference in their lives. Job Purpose:

The Software Systems Analyst is a key role in the Software Development department, tasked with ensuring the quality and relevance of the department's output.  The position’s duties include meeting with stakeholders, envisioning solutions to meet stakeholder needs, defining those solutions in terms of functional and nonfunctional requirements, developing technical specifications, and testing development iterations.  The Software Systems Analyst studies DCCU's processes and systems to produce accurate and useful documentation and to find opportunities for improvement.  The role requires clear thinking, effective verbal and written communication, a collaborative team spirit, a proactive approach to problem solving, and strong technical aptitude.

What You’ll Have the Opportunity to Do:


  • Analyze systems and processes to plan projects and find opportunities.

  • Lead meetings with product owners and stakeholders to gather requirements.

  • Work closely with team members, business leaders, and end users.

  • Design robust and scalable software solutions that meet stakeholder requirements.

  • Collaborate with Business Analysts on other teams to plan and scope large projects.

  • Transform meeting notes and conversations into technical specifications.

  • Maintain product backlogs for different teams and projects.

  • Write user stories within an agile scrum framework.

  • Perform or coordinate functional, non-functional, and regression testing.

  • Generate technical diagrams, wireframes, and documentation.

What You’ll Bring to the Table:


  • Four-year degree in a related field (or equivalent professional experience) and five years of experience in a technology or business analyst role.

  • Deep understanding of computing systems and software development processes.

  • Ability to write user stories and manage a product backlog.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.

  • Ability to take detailed notes and share them with teams.

  • Ability to capture technical requirements in readable documentation.

  • Preference given to candidates with software development experience and experience working in an agile scrum environment.

  • Experience using:

    • Microsoft Visio or similar flowchart/diagram tool

    • Figma or similar wireframing and mockup tool

    • Azure Dev Ops

    • Agile Scrum project management

    • Jira

    • Git

    • Visual Studio Code, SSMS, and Power BI

    • Microsoft Office
