What will you be doing?



This role will be part of a highly energetic, experienced team of subject matter experts for various IT Security platforms and practices who work directly with IT and business teams to drive IT Security initiatives. You will play a critical role in maintaining a strong IT Security defensive posture, including Incident Response. You will be actively involved in the collection and analyzing of evidence as well as on-going initiatives and projects to bolster IT Security defenses. The idea candidate will have the ability to communicate both clearly and effectively with all levels of global colleagues across Circana. You will be a valued contributor to suggest, enhance and utilize IT Security solutions to ensure assets are properly safeguarded.



Job Responsibilities



  • Active Participant in Incident Response situations

  • Work with the Security Compliance, Risk, Audit and Governance Teams to ensure security, regulatory and compliance best practices are followed.

  • Proactively utilize all IT Security tools to guard against , identify and remediate threats.

  • Contribute to the on-going review and expansion of IT Security tools, policies, and processes

  • Suggest, enhance and utilize IT Security solutions to ensure assets are properly safeguarded

  • Proactively assess safeguards to identify potential risks and perform trend analysis

  • Compile and validate statistical data to be used to determine the viability of implementing specific

  • Ability to understand drivers and shifting priorities, regarding business and regulatory requirements

  • Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and maintain confidentiality.

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills

  • Ability to multi-task with attention to detail




Requirements



  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience

  • 2+ years experience in IT Systems or Network Engineering / Administration

  • 3+ years experience in a IT Security Administration or Engineering role

  • Knowledgeable of the following information security disciplines: Data loss prevention (DLP), intrusion detection system (IDS) monitoring, security information and event management (SIEM), incident response, IT Security best practices, system hardening, vulnerability assessment, management and remediation, EDR, antivirus, firewalls, and techniques for analyzing TCP/IP network traffic and event logs

  • Excellent Interpersonal Skills - Team player and Self Starter. Independent Thinker and Collaborator.

Location



This position is 100% remote and can be located in the US, India, Europe, or APAC region


The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. The salary range for this role is $115,000 to $135,000.


This job is also eligible for [bonus/incentive/commissions/equity] pay.
